Rum Giveaway - Rules

    1. The Thor Art "Rum Giveaway” (the “Contest”) commences at 12:01 a.m. HST on Friday, November 21st, 2015 and concludes at 11:59 p.m. HST on Friday, December 3rd, 2015 (the “Contest Period”).
    2. To enter the Contest, entrants should visit the contest page at www.ThorArt.com/pages/giveaway (the “Contest Page”) to complete and submit an entry form for the Contest (the “Entry Form”). The Entry Form will require that each entrant provide certain information necessary to administer the Contest, including the entrant’s full name and e-mail address.
    3. The Entry Form will include an “opt-in” to sign up for the Thor Art newsletters. Entrants are not required to sign-up for these newsletters in order to enter the Contest.
    4. At the end of the Contest Period, all valid entries received will be submitted for entry in the random draw for a chance to win the Grand Prize or a Secondary Prize, as described in more detail below. The winners will be drawn in the week following the end of the Contest Period.
    5. To be eligible to enter the Contest, entrants must be 13 years of age or older, and a resident of USA or Canada.
    6. Entrants are permitted to enter the Contest only one (1) time, using only one (1) email account.
    7. There will be only (1) prize to be awarded:
    1. Grand Prize consists of an original (8x10") rum doodle painting of the winner's choice, with approximate retail value of $250.00 USD, and the popular "Lucky Devil" mug, with approximate retail value of $45.00 USD for a grand total of prizes worth up to $295.00 USD (exclusive of all taxes)
    2. Shipping will be paid by Thor Art to USA and Canada destinations.

Thor Art will contact each winner by sending an email message to the email address provided by the winners when entering the Contest (i) advising each winner that he or she has been selected to win the Grand Prize (ii) asking the winner to send a reply email to Thor Art at contact@thorart.com and to provide in such email the winner’s name, address within USA or Canada where the Prize, should be shipped and a day-time and evening phone number where the winner may be contacted.
  3. Each winner must reply via email (the “Reply Email”) within seventy-two (72) hours of the sending by Thor Art of its email message notifying the winner he or she has been selected in order to maintain eligibility and, before the prize can be awarded, he or she must execute a standard release form (as specified below).
  4. The Prize will be shipped to the winner at the expense of Thor Art to any location within USA or Canada as directed by the winner in the Reply Email, using USPS or FedEx.
  5. The approximate retail value of the Prize represents the good faith determination of Thor Art and its partners. If the actual value turns out to be less than the stated approximate retail value, the difference will not be awarded in cash or otherwise.
  6. The Prize is non-negotiable and must be accepted as described and awarded and may not be substituted for cash or otherwise. The judges' decision on any contest issue is final. No telephone contact or other correspondence will be entered into except with the winners.
  7. Thor Art reserves the right to substitute the Prize for a prize of approximately equal value, in its sole discretion, and to terminate or withdraw the Contest at any time, without prior notice.
  8. By entering the Contest, each entrant consents to the use of his or her name and city of residence on the Thor Art websites, Facebook pages, Instagram pages, Twitter feeds, on-air and in any other media and for any and all other programming and publicity/promotional purposes, without payment or compensation of any kind.
  9. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.
  10. All entries shall become the property of Thor Art.
  11. Thor Art may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Contest or winning the Grand Prize  if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, hacking, deception or other unfair playing practices or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or representatives of Thor Art or its sponsors and their representatives. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws.
  12. The winner, or if applicable, the winner’s parent or legal guardian, must sign a release form (and it must be received by Thor Art within five (5) days from the date such form is sent to the potential winner), releasing Thor Art and its sponsors, affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, agents and their respective advertising and promotional agencies, from any and all liability arising in connection with the Contest, including, without limitation, liability arising from the acceptance of the Grand Prize or the Secondary Prize, as the case may be, as awarded and confirming compliance with Contest rules.
  13. If the potential winner fails to meet all of the Contest conditions (including, (i) if Thor Art fails to receive the Reply Email within the seventy-two hour period, (ii) if Thor Art does not receive from the potential winner an executed release form within five (5) days from the date such form is sent to the potential winner, or (iii) if after receiving the Reply Email, Thor Art is unable to make contact with the potential winner within twenty-four (24) hours of receiving the Reply Email, then such potential winner will be disqualified, his/her entry will be declared null and void and Thor Art reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to select from a further random draw another eligible entry, in which event these provisions shall apply to such other selected eligible entry (and so on). In such event, the selected entrant(s) will have no recourse against Thor Art or any of its sponsors, affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, agents and their respective advertising and promotional agencies in connection with such entrant’s disqualification from the Contest.

  15. This contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all federal, provincial and all other applicable laws and regulations.
