Crazy Eight - by Tom Thordarson of THOR ART - Getting totally Tubed!! ...with a wave crashing on the back of his head, he is certainly “in the green room” as they say in the surfing world! Crazy Eight is part of my "'Aumakua Series" which are Hawaiian spirit guardians that watch over an Ohana. In this series, I am celebrating the “free spirit” of Aloha as expressed through the ‘Aumakua taking the form of the wonderful creatures of the sea including octopus, turtles and sharks.

Da Humma Hummer - by Tom Thordarson of THOR ART - This piece, I dedicate to our solders in the Middle East fighting for our Country. Namely, those based out of Hawaii whose spirit of Aloha carries with them from the sands of our Islands to the sands of the Iraqi desert. When painting this, I imagined that those traveling in this combat Humvee decided they needed to take a moment and fabricate their own little Tiki paradise. Fiji Monkey Chi Chi Turner - by Tom Thordarson of THOR ART - A contraption built in the trees off the beach in Fiji. It’s powered by primates! It makes another famous tropical drink with coconut milk and pineapple juice called a “Chi Chi”. This is part of my "Drink Machine Series."

Hang Two Honu - by Tom Thordarson of THOR ART - This green turtle on a long board in front of Diamond Head is just hangin’ cool... check out the red pencil sea urchin that adds a little funk to the ol’ cranium! And what else would a turtle wear but a tiki necklace!

Maxed Out Mano - by Tom Thordarson of THOR ART - The board is pin-striped in a “bad boy” fashion and the shark gets back at all the times tourists wear one of “his” teeth around their necks by sporting a cool “human tooth” necklace! The little sucker remoras hitch a ride too!
