Blue Hawaii Shimmylator - by Tom Thordarson of THOR ART - This celebrates the making of one of Hawaii’s signature cocktails, a Blue Hawaii. The drink gets its electric blue color from one of its ingredients, a liqueur called blue curacao. Visitors also know of the famous movie starring Elvis Presley called “Blue Hawaii” from the early 60’s. To create the perfect contraption to make a Blue Hawaii cocktail, I took elements from the Elvis movie like the bongo drums he played, surfboards etc.

In the Hawaiian tide pools, one star lit evening, a hopelessly romantic female gecko falls deeply for the silly antics of this Moray eel. From two different world, this doesn't discourage their passion in the least. For now, these two will vow to meet here every eve...as long as the moon shall shine above.

The moon is large and golden with a crescent form that shimmers like liquid gold upon the gentle water’s surface. The smell of fresh plumeria fills the night air with magic and romance. Oblivious to place and time, they embrace each other gently, bathed in the warm candle’s light that contrasts perfectly with the cool trade-winds that fill the banana leaf sail.

Hawaiian Hold 'em - by Tom Thordarson of THOR ART - Here is a sight you will only find on a Gecko peppered island where the urge to “ante up” meets ground level! The warm tropical breezes are laced with the scent of the cognac as the smokey haze from a rare Cuban cigar marbles the darkness and casts a warm amber glow. The dealer is a cunning little “braddah”. Wearing a pop top visor, he leans over the SPAM can table to deal the “turn.”
